Becoming slim has appeared as a fashion for years and many people try to keep slim by smoking cigarettes. Although no one knows who initiated the fashion, scientific data do indicate that smoking can help keep body weight down through several ways, including
- reducing people’s appetite for food;
- increasing metabolism of the body to burn more calories (become more excited, keep moving, etc);
- quitting smoking leading to weight gain has also been observed.
Now it is down to the question whether is it a wise to maintain a good image by smoking cigarettes? There is no simple single answer to this question.
- If you are an adult, and have no plan to have children, and you do not experience any negative responses from cigarette smoking, and your body is Too Big, smoking cigarettes might be one option to assist you keep weight down. In this case, you may need to smoke adequate amount of cigarettes to keep you excited and to reduce your appetite for food.
- Unfortunately, a person with a big body size usually suffers from cardiovascular diseases (e.g., high blood pressure, heart attach, and CHD) and metabolic problems (e.g., diabetic problems). These medical conditions will be worsened by smoking. It will be highly risk for a person suffering from any of this conditions to use tobacco as a weight control measures.
- Young women who plan to have children should never ever try to smoke to keep body in shape. Your baby has no idea about your body image, what he/she needs is a clear environment to grow and develop starting from the beginning of the life in mothers uterus.
There are many healthy ways to stay in good shape. We recommand a few blow. Please, if you could do any of the following, please do not smoke.
